When you buy a bike from them, they ship it to you in a disassembled state. Instead of a bike, you get a box on your doorstep, and the assembly and adjustment is all up to you. Not so when you buy a bike from us! When you buy a bike from Bicycle Roots, you get a bicycle that's tuned up and ready to roll. A bicycle that fits you and your riding style. A bicycle with a dedicated staff of customer service professionals standing behind it. A bicycle that will make you happy from day one.

Here on our website, we offer a wide selection of bikes to choose from. You can read descriptions, compare features, and even learn more about the different bicycle types and brands available. And of course, if you need more help picking the right bike, you can contact us or visit our store to consult with our staff and test ride our bikes in person. Whether you buy a bike online or in the store, we can't ship it to you. Instead, we offer In-Store Pickup on all bikes. As a result, every bike we sell comes with free professional assembly, basic fitting, and our lifetime service policy.

How It Works

Here on our website, you'll see lots of bikes for sale. These bikes are available to Ship to our Store- in most cases, they are already in our store! When you buy a bicycle from our website, our web store administrator will be notified immediately. We will pull the bike from storage and assemble it according to our exacting standards. When the bike is ready to ride, one of our mechanics will give you a call. Then you can come into the store and pick it up!

When you arrive at our store, it's time to take a test ride. We'll make sure that the bike you've selected online is the proper size and that all of the components are dialed in to their most ergonomic positions. If the bike that you ordered on our website is the wrong size or if it's uncomfortable, you can exchange it for a different size, or even a different bike! We will make sure that the bike you choose is the right bike for you, that it works properly, and that you know how to use it. (Please note: We do not accept returns or exchanges on bikes after they have been picked up from our store.)
